The firm was established in 1962. There are 11 (eleven) attorneys, 03 (three) law clerks and 07 (seven) staff members who work at our firm. In addition to speaking and writing Portuguese, attorneys in the office are fluent in spoken and written English, French and Spanish.

    Our firm provides consulting services in corporate, commercial, civil, real estate and family law matters. Our firm also has an active litigation department, which renders services on corporate, commercial, civil, real estate and family law matters. We represent both Brazilian and non-Brazilian companies, as well as individuals, in litigation.

    Our firm also has a business law practice with special emphasis on non-Brazilian companies doing business in Brazil, subsidiaries of non-Brazilian companies doing business in Brazil and Brazilian companies doing business with non-Brazilian companies. In this area, our work includes representing clients in mergers, acquisitions, joint-ventures, sale of companies and formation of companies, negotiation of commercial agreements, of distribution and sales representation agreements and of licensing and technology transfer agreements. We also render services related to foreign investments in Brazil and corporate matters.

    Clients of our firm include information distribution companies, movie studios, pay television operators, pay television programmers, software companies, autoparts companies, chemical companies, trade associations, consumer electronics companies, printing companies, publishers, Internet companies, mattress manufacturers and other companies.

    Our clients include Brazilian companies, North-American and European companies and the Brazilian subsidiaries of such companies. Also, we render services to other law firms located in Brazil and outside Brazil.
